NOC team provides 24x7 coverage and support for the Flipkart IT Infrastructure and is responsible for monitoring, reporting, and escalation of any IT Infrastructure related issues. This includes all SLA issues; such as Severity 1 incidents where a Network infrastructure or a Carrier may experience issues. This also involves identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with systems and applications reported through monitoring systems or trouble tickets. Responsibilities & Requirements:
Rapidly respond to all alerts, restoring or escalating service/applications issues as per established SLAs
Facilitate technical/crisis management conference calls during production outages, providing written and verbal updates in timely and consistent manner
Track all planned and unplanned Systems & Applications outages through trouble ticketing systems and reporting tools.
Participate in change management and post mortem process to ensure operational consistency and service improvement
Configuration and maintenance of network/systems management tools
Special NOC projects in support of Organizational Goals. Qualifications:
One plus years with NOC Operational Support for a Production Environment
Working Knowledge and experience with Operations Support and Escalations, Change Management, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, HP Procurve, Linux OS and Zabbix Enterprise monitoring.
Ability to multi-task and work during production crisis situations
Good Analytical and problem solving skills
Good verbal and written communications.
Diploma or BSc or BCA in Electronic / Computer Science or equivalent experience.
